• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  No supply of alcohol may be made under this licence:

   

  a)     at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of it, or

   

  b)     at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  Every retail sale or supply of alcohol made under this licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  Section 19 Licensing Act 2003

   

  The admission of children under the age of 18 to film exhibitions permitted under the terms of this licence shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made:

   

  a)              by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), where the film has been classified by that Board, or

   

  b)              by the Licensing Authority where no classification certificate has been granted by the BBFC, or, where the licensing authority has notified the licence holder that section 20(3)(b) of the Licensing Act 2003 applies to the film.

   

  Section 20 Licensing Act 2003

   

  Only individuals licensed by the Security Industry Authority may be used at the premises to guard against:

   

  a)     unauthorised access or occupation (e.g. door supervision) or,

   

  b)     outbreaks of disorder, or

   

  c)      damage

  The Licensee will continue to follow company procedures in respect of the full licensing objectives as found in the attached documents.

  Children under 16 are not permitted in the bar area after 9pm except for the consumption of refreshments in which case this is extended to 9.30 pm.

  Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst on the premises.

   

  The permitted times do not prohibit:

   

  consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;

  the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;

  the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;

  the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;

  the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or

  the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the

  consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or

  the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of alcohol so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.

   

  Credit Sales

  Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied:

  a) with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal;

  b) for consumption by a person residing in the premises or his guest and paid for together with his accommodation;

  c) to a canteen or mess.

   

   

• ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

   

  An additional half an hour at the time of the change from British Summer Time to Greenwich Meantime is permitted.

   

  At all times the sale of alcohol is authorised beyond midnight, a Door Supervisor or an accredited Security Industry Authority Manager shall be in the front of the premises from 10.00pm until the closure of the premises.

   

  All Door Supervisors must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.
