ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Prevention of Crime & Disorder.
A Tamper resistant CCTV system will be installed, maintained in working order and operated at the premises & will be ‘fit for purpose’ to the following:
a. The system will record, when triggered, 24 hours per day.
b. All camera information will be stored raw on hard disc, multiplexed, time & date stamped.
c. Access codes shall be required.
d. The nominal recording period is 28 days.
e. Officers from Lincolnshire Police/Local Licensing Authority will be provided with any information requested from the recording, or access to them at any reasonable time.
f. Entrances & exits will be monitored as well as corridor areas leading to toilets & areas not normally monitored by staff.
g. The outside patio areas will be fully covered by CCTV to the satisfaction of Lincolnshire Police
h. Signage will clearly show that CCTV cameras are in operation.
2. Protection of Children from Harm.
A written policy to prevent the sale of alcohol to persons under 18 years will be in place, where the following forms of identification are required:
a. A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS).
b. Photo Driving Licence.
c. Passport.
d. Any other means of identification approved and accredited in writing by the Lincoln Police Licensing Office.
Point of sale staff will undergo training in the above policy, with a record maintained signed by a member of staff & trainer. Each entry will be retained for 24 months after completion. The record will be made available for inspection by Lincolnshire Police or other parties acting on their behalf.
Notices will be displayed at the entrances to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and will indicate:
a. That it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person less than 18 years of age.
b. That proof of age may be requested at the premises as listed above.
A bound, consecutively numbered, refusals register will be maintained on the premises in the following format:
a. Each entry will be timed, dated and signed by the member of staff making the refusal.
b. A description or name, if possible, of the refused person.
c. Each entry to be signed and dated by the DPS, manager or supervisor.
d. Details of the item that the sale was refused for.
e. The reason for refusal.
The register will be retained for 2 years and produced upon request from an Officer from Lincolnshire Police, Trading Standards or the local Licensing Authority.
Children under the age of 16 years are not allowed on the premises unless supervised by an appropriate adult.
Children under the age of 16 years shall not be allowed in the immediate area of the point of sale of alcohol.
3. Public Nuisance.
Signage shall be placed at all exits to the premises to remind customers to consider the residents of neighbouring properties.
When a DJ is present at the premises the DJ shall remind customers of the need to be quiet and considerate when leaving the premises.
The Licensee or responsible person shall ensure that no noise shall emanate from the licensed premises nor vibration be transmitted through the structure of the premises which gives rise to a nuisance or unreasonable disturbance to the occupiers of premises in the vicinity of the licensed premises.
There will be no requirement for Stewards at the Chequers Inn - A Village Inn.
