ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The Licence Holder will always ensure that there are sufficient competent staff on duty at the premises, for the purpose of fulfilling the terms and conditions of the licence and for preventing crime and disorder.
The Licence Holder shall ensure that all staff will undertake training in their responsibilities in relation to the sale of alcohol, particularly regarding underage persons.
Any incidents of a criminal nature that may occur on the premises will be reported to the police.
CCTV cameras will be installed inside and outside the premises.
The CCTV system will conform to the following points:
Cameras will be sited to observe the doorway in such a way that identification of the subject is possible.
Cameras will be installed above the till area and overlooking the shop floor in such a way that the nature of any crime can be confirmed.
CCTV footage will provide a linked record of the date, time and place of images.
CCTV footage will provide good quality images. in colour during opening times.
The recording device will be in a secure area.
There will be a monitor to review images and recorded picture quality.
CCTV equipment will be regularly maintained to ensure continuous quality of image capture and retention.
There will be signage displayed in the customer area to advise that CCTV is in operation.
Digital images will be kept for at least 31 days.
Police will have access to images at any reasonable time.
The equipment will have an export method (CD, USB) so that the police can make an evidential copy of the data they require. This data will be supplied in the native file format, to ensure that no image quality is lost when making the copy. Copies will be made available to Police on request.
The outside of the shop will be properly maintained and all dropped litter regularly removed from the immediate vicinity.
INCIDENT/REFUSALS BOOK
An incident/refusals book/electronic record shall be kept at the premises, in which details of crime and/or disorder relating to the premises shall be recorded. This log shall contain the following details:
Time, date and location of incident/refusals.
Nature of the Incident/refusal.
Names, addresses and contact details of persons involved.
Result of the incident/refusals.
Action taken to prevent further such incidents.
Each entry signed/reviewed by the DPS, or other responsible person employed at the premises and so authorised by the DPS; and retained for a period of no less than 12 months and made available to Lincolnshire Police other relevant authority for inspection upon request.
CHALLENGE 25
The premises shall operate the "Challenge 25" Proof of Age Policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age. The policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 25 years to produce one of the following forms of identification:
A recognised proof of age card credited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS);
Photo driving licence;
Passport.
Notices shall be prominently displayed advising customers of the “Challenge 25” policy
All point-of-sale staff shall undergo training in the challenge 25 proof of age scheme and all other relevant policies with a record kept of the date of training, signed by the member of staff and the trainer and refreshed every 6 months. Each entry shall be retained for a period of 12 months from date of completion. This record shall be made available for inspection by Lincolnshire Police Officers or other relevant authority.
