ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A training strategy manual will be maintained at the premises by the designated premises supervisor or a nominated member of staff this manual will describe all relevant training given to staff.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 18 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
- a recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail
Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- photo driving licence
- passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and date of birth of the holder
Toilet areas will be checked by a nominated member of staff at regular intervals.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises (and in the beer garden) in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices asking customers to respect the needs of local residents and requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
Any outside area which is used for the consumption of alcohol shall cease to be so used at 11pm.
Music will be used infrequently and there shall be no more than two performers on any occasion.
No nuisance shall be caused by noise coming from the premises or by vibration transmitted through the structure of the premises.
Children under 16 are not permitted on the premises after 9pm other than those staying as temporary residents and on occasions when attending pre-booked private parties.
Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst on the premises and are only allowed in the dining room and designated areas.
Children under 16 are not permitted in the public bar areas.
Credit Sales
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied:
a) with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the
meal and paid for together with the meal;
b) for consumption by a person residing in the premises or his guest and paid for
together with his accommodation;
c) to a canteen or mess.
The permitted times do not prohibit:
consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sales or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises.
the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorise mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at this own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of alcohol so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
