ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The provision of live music and entertainment of a similar nature is limited to a maximum of two performers and to entertainment at Bona Fide Private events.
Children under 16 are not permitted in the area immediately adjacent to the bar servery.
Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst on the premises.
When children are allowed on the premises any entertainment offered within the premises will be of a suitable nature.
When appropriate there shall be provided at the premises door supervisors who are registered with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to such a number as the management of the premises consider are sufficient to control the entry of persons to the premises and for the keeping of order in the premises when they are used for a licensable activity.
A zero tolerance towards illegal drugs must be enforced at all times.
At times when a disc-jockey is providing entertainment then announcements shall be made at regular intervals requesting customers leave quietly.
Every incident of crime and disorder in the premises shall be reported to the police by the designated premises supervisor or a nominated member of staff.
Every incident of crime and disorder in the premises shall be recorded in an incident log book kept at this premises for that purpose. The log book shall be available for inspection by an authorised officer of the council or a police constable.
Free drinking water must be available at all times.
The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular internal and external assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices asking customers to respect the needs of local residents and requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
If used, text/radio pagers must be kept in good working order and monitored by the Designated Premises Supervisor or a nominated member of staff.
Soft drinks and non-alcoholic refreshment will be available at times between the cessation of the supply of alcohol and the closure of the premises.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 18 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
- a recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and date of birth of the holder
