ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
No person carrying opened/sealed bottles shall be permitted access to the premises at any time they are open to the public
No drink shall be removed from the premises in an unsealed container.
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years to produce one of the following forms of identification:
- a recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- photo driving licence
- passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Portman ‘Prove’ It card
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and date of birth of the holder, and any other means approved and accredited by Lincoln Police Licensing Office
All point of sale staff shall undergo training in the above policy with a record kept of the date of training, signed by the member of staff and the trainer. This record shall be made available for inspection by a Police Constable or Authorised Officer of the Council.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate:
1. That it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.
2. That proof of age may be requested at the premises and the accepted means for proof of age will be listed on the notice(s)
No person under the age of 18 shall be allowed to use any gaming machine
All doors or gates both inside and outside the premises which are on an escape route shall be fitted only with approved fasteners and shall at all times be properly maintained and free from obstruction. All such doors and gates shall be capable of being opened easily and fully and shall open in the direction of the escape route.
Printed notices shall be prominently displayed in the premises detailing the essential steps that must be taken if a fire is discovered or the fire alarm goes off or other emergency arises and how to call the Fire Service. The notices must be protected from damage and deterioration.
All external doors and windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech are taking place after 10pm
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices asking customers to respect the needs of local residents and requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
